SLA TPU Rubber 3D Printing

Our TPU Rubber Like, also known as Flexible Material, is produced by SLA Industrial 3D Printing and vacuum casting process. Produce rubber and flexible material with almost non-visible 3D Print layer lines. Options are available to vary shore hardness from 30A (softest) to 90A (hardest). This is a flexible material that can be used as seals, gasket, replacement of silicone and rubber parts.

RUBBER LIKE QUALITY

Right out of production, this material is matte in texture. It is common to have small support marks on supported areas during production in this material. Even so, this material should give very realistic rubber like appearance. White and Black colour options are available as default. Other colour options can be provided upon request.

Wall thickness for 3D Printing

Minimum Wall Thickness

We recommend the following minimum wall thickness:

  • 1 mm (parts ≤ 10 cm)
  • 2 mm (parts between 10 cm to 30 cm)
  • 3 mm (parts ≥ 30 cm)

Parts with Sufficient wall thickness is crucial to ensure successful print.

Embossed and Engrave Details for 3D Printing

For Embossed Details: Recommended minimum thickness of 0.5mm and height of 0.5mm

For Engraved Details: Recommended minimum thickness of 0.5mm and depth of 0.5mm

Clearance for 3D Printing

Clearance for Fitting

It is very important to allow clearance between the space of 2 objects, so as to give a freedom of movement between the gap. We recommend:

  • 0.1 mm (tight fit), 0.2 mm (standard fit) and 0.4 mm (loose fit).

You are advised to test out several iterations to attain a perfect fit.

Hollowing of parts is not recommended in this material as it is not possible to produce parts with internal cavity.

Warp 3D Printed Parts

Reduce Warpage

Warpage issues isn’t applicable for this material since it is flexible in nature.

Multiple Parts in Single File

Avoid Multiple Parts in a single file

Uploading multiple parts within a file may cause unnecessary delay in your order due to processing issues. Simply upload each part file separately for a smooth transaction.
